DONATIONS
Charity Group Affection uses donations to fund annual projects and special projects, both in Vietnam and the United States. In Vietnam, Charity Group Affection has existing relationships with charitable and religious organizations and individuals to offer scholarships to students from low-income families, provide language and vocational education to poor and disabled individuals, provide food and supplies to seniors, provide financial aid to former disable military officers, support the needy orphans and other activities of a similar nature.
In the United States, Charity Group Affection sponsors an annual Tet( Lunar New Year) event at the Baileys Crossroads Homeless Shelter, where volunteers serve Vietnamese food to the homeless. Charity Group Affection also distributes funds to Child Medical Connection, a nonprofit charity in the Leominster, Mass., run by Joseph A. Bodanza. Child Medical Connection flies children from Vietnam to receive free medical treatment for polio at Shriners Hospital in Springfield, Mass.
Charity Group Affection also responds to emergency needs in Vietnam and the United States. Charity Group Affection has responded to a mudslide in Indonesia, the Katrina storm in New Orleans and a flood in Vietnam.
